JD Brothers Tree Services was formed in 2021 to provide higher-quality tree services & land clearing to homeowners and businesses across Virginia. Although we were formed in 2021, our team has been a part of the community for a long time through our sister company, Terra Engineering (Est 2003, Stuarts Draft, VA). We formed the new company to separate our Tree & Land clearing business from our Civil Engineering & Land Surveying portion of Terra Engineering.
Jake Driver
Jake Driver, our experienced tree crew supervisor with 4 years of tree removal under his belt. He handles pricing, coordinates work, and ensures that jobs are done safely and efficiently, leaving the site clean and debris-free. Jake takes pride in completing every job exactly as the client wants it, and he's always ready to lend a hand to the crew when needed. He has the skill sets to rope trees, fell trees, limb them out, and operate our equipment like the skid steer, brush cutter, and stump grinder. When Terra Engineering needs surveying help, Jake is always willing to step up.
Joe Driver
Joe is a key member of both JD Brothers Tree Services and Terra Engineering since 2003. As the Field Manager for JD Brothers, he provides administrative assistance and manages crew scheduling, pricing jobs, and overseeing logistical tasks. He has 6 years of experience in felling trees, and can do all of the varietal field tasks such as stump grinding, brush chipping etc., with extensive knowledge in tree & plant identification. With his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bridgewater College, Joe's expertise in both administrative and field tasks make him an invaluable asset to both companies.
Zack Britt
Zack is our crew leader of JD Brothers Tree Services. He is responsible for managing our crew members, assigning tasks, and helping projects get completed on time and to the highest quality. He has his First Aid, CPR w/ AED, and VDOT certifications. Zack comes from a previous background of tree removal/land clearing with over 5 years of total experience. Zack also helps run the skid loader, stump grinders, and chipper. He also is a tree-climbing trainee. He has a high regard for client expectations and always helps to make sure the job is on time and neat. He is also responsible for doing job estimates.
Chris
Chris is a hardworking and dedicated crew member who plays a crucial role in moving our projects forward. With his impressive skills in tree cutting and trimming, he is always ready to lend a helping hand to the team whenever needed. Chris' commitment to getting the job done right and his willingness to take on any task make him an invaluable asset to our team.
Dakota
Dakota is an indispensable member of our team, providing invaluable support as a crew member to move projects along. He's a skilled tree cutter, able to tackle any project with precision and efficiency, and is always ready to lend a hand with trimming or any other task the team needs him to help with. Dakota's dedication and tireless work ethic make him an essential part of our crew.
Justin
Justin is a valuable member of our crew, providing essential labor to keep projects on track. He is a skilled tree cutter and trimmer, capable of taking on any task assigned to him. Most often found operating the skid steer most, if not all the time. Justin is always ready and willing to lend a hand wherever it is needed, making him an integral part of our team.
